Remove the background from your photo and inspect the result before export. Start with a sharp source image to give the cutout the best chance of retaining clear edges.

Prepared example, not a guarantee of your result. Inspect the laces, heel, and sole. A red subject on a red scene can leave coloured edge remnants; compare on a contrasting backdrop. Source photo

YOUR WORKFLOW
Prepare. Compare. Export.
01
Choose a complete source photo
Use the largest sharp original you have instead of a compressed messaging-app copy. EraseBG exports the processed image dimensions; it does not upscale every image to HD or 4K. Model processing and your device affect the result.
02
Inspect the result
Inspect labels, hair, laces and other small details at the downloaded image size. Check the file dimensions before publishing. A clean background cannot repair blur, compression or missing detail in the source.
03
Choose your finish
Open the editor, compare the cutout with the original, and choose a transparent or solid background. Export PNG when you need transparency. Keep your original photo for comparison.
Frequently asked questions
Does this guarantee HD, 4K or lossless background removal?
No. The tool does not create detail that was missing from the source or guarantee perfect separation. PNG export preserves transparency without JPEG compression, but background removal still changes pixels around the subject. Check the output dimensions and edges before use.
What if part of the subject disappears?
Try a sharper source with more contrast between the subject and its surroundings. Background removal cannot recover parts cropped out of the original, and difficult edges may need another photo or a separate editing tool.
Where is my photo processed?
Background removal runs in your browser. The model must load before processing; time depends on your device and the image. This prepared sample is separate from your own photo.
How do I check the downloaded image?
Place the export on the background you intend to use. Inspect it at the final display size as well as enlarged. Keep PNG for transparent areas; a JPG export has a solid background.
