Using EraseBG

These terms describe use of EraseBG’s background-removal tool and website. Use the website only for lawful purposes and respect the rights of other people.

Your images and permissions

Only edit images you own or have permission to use. You remain responsible for copyright, consent, privacy, and any restrictions that apply to the images you select and the compositions you create. Editing an image does not give you ownership of someone else’s material.

Your files and the service

You retain your rights in your original images. The tool processes selected files locally in your browser to create the output you request. See the Privacy page for information about local storage and external resource delivery.

Examples and website content

Gallery examples show what a background-removal result can look like. Their presence on the website is not a licence to reuse the underlying photographs commercially. Obtain the relevant permissions before using third-party images outside the website.

Acceptable use

Do not use the website to create or distribute unlawful material, impersonate another person deceptively, infringe intellectual property, or interfere with the website’s operation. Do not misrepresent an edited photo as authentic when doing so would deceive or harm others.

Results and availability

Automated results depend on the input image and may lose fine detail or require a different original. Check your output before using it. Features and availability may change, and EraseBG does not guarantee uninterrupted service or a specific result. Keep copies of the original images you need.

External services

Fonts, scripts, and model files may be delivered by third-party providers. Their services and linked websites are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Updates

Changes to these terms will be published on this page with an updated date. These terms do not exclude any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
